Chinese viscose market remains stable last week

In the last week, prices of Cotton Linter continued to maintain a stable trend at RMB 3550/ton, due to Spring Festival holidays. In the last update from market, prices were in the range of RMB 3200/ton to RMB 3500/ton. Trading offers were in between RMB 3000/ton to RMB 3200/ton. Average price for last week was RMB 3100/ton.
 
In the previous week, prices of Dissolving Pulp continued to follow a steady trend at RMB 6850/ton. Prices of imported Dissolving Wood Pulp were assessed in the range of US$ 895/ton to US$ 900/ton. Prices of Pulp imported from the US were in the range of US$ 890/ton to US$ 900/ton, while those from Canada were in the range of US$ 850/ton to US$ 900/ton. Prices of Pulp imported from Sweden and Russia were between US$ 850/ton and US$ 880/ton.
 
Prices of VSF were stable in the previous week and thereafter the market continued to follow a stable trend at RMB 14500/ton. Earlier market opened in the range of RMB 14400/ton to RMB 14500/ton, and it followed an unchanged trend thereafter. In the Chinese market, offers for imported VSF hovered in the range of US$ 1.93/kg to US$ 2.03/kg. Market experts believe that VSF prices would remain around US$ 1.99/kg in the short-term.
 
In the previous week, prices of VFY were stable and later it continued to maintain an unchanged trend at RMB 38900/ton. Earlier market opened in the range of RMB 38800/ton to RMB 39000/ton, but the trading prices maintained a stable trend at RMB 38900/ton. In the Chinese market, offers for imported VFY hovered in the range of US$ 6010/ton to US$ 6120/ton.
