Taekwang operates Ulsan ACN plant at 80% rate

South Korean - Taekwang Industrial is operating its acrylonitrile (ACN) plant at lower rates.

“The ACN plant located in Ulsan is currently operating at 80% production capacity rates”, a company official informed fibre2fashion.

Providing reasons for the same, he added, “This has been done due to high raw material cost and low demand for the product”.

The ACN plant has a capacity of 290,000 tons per year.
