For the second time after the end of the Spring Festival, viscose fibre manufacturers in China have increased their offer price.

The offers of mid-end viscose staple fibre have risen by 100-200 yuan/ton to 14,800-15,200 yuan/ton, but the actual negotiations are around 14,800 yuan/ton.

The high-end viscose staple fibre prices are currently in the range of 15,200-15,300 yuan/ton, but the actual transactions are in the range of 15,100-15,200 yuan/ton.

According to industry analysts, pulp manufacturers are strongly inclined to raise prices, which provide ample support to viscose fibre prices.

Moreover, viscose manufacturers have received sufficient orders before the Spring Festival, and hence, prices of viscose staple fibres are expected to maintain upward momentum in the short-term.
