Chinese VFY prices gradually rise last week

Cotton Linter prices sustained a steady trend at RMB 3750/ton in the last week. In the last update from market, prices were in the range of RMB 3300/ton to RMB 3700/ton. Trading offers were in between RMB 3250/ton to RMB 3550/ton. Average price for last week was RMB 3290/ton. 
 
Prices of Dissolving Pulp had slightly increased by RMB 25/ton to RMB 7425/ton in the previous week, and thereafter it followed an unchanged trend. Prices of imported Dissolving Wood Pulp were assessed at US$ 940/ton. Prices of Pulp imported from the US were in the range of US$ 890/ton to US$ 1000/ton, while those from Canada were in the range of US$ 870/ton to US$ 900/ton. Prices of Pulp imported from Sweden and Russia were between US$ 920/ton to US$ 950/ton.
 
In the last week, prices of VSF remained stable at RMB 15000/ton. Earlier market opened in the range of RMB 14950/ton to RMB 15050/ton, but the trading prices decreased to RMB 14950/ton. In the Chinese market, offers for imported VSF hovered in the range of US$ 1.95/kg to US$ 2.03/kg. Market experts believe that VSF prices would remain steady at around US$ 2.00/kg in the short term. 
 
VFY prices gradually increased to RMB 39150/ton in the previous week and thereafter it maintained a steady trend. Earlier market opened in the range of RMB 38850/ton to RMB 39150/ton, but the trading prices surged to RMB 39150/ton. In the Chinese market, offers for imported VFY hovered in the range of US$ 6010/ton to US$ 6110/ton.
