Speaking to fibre2fashion, a Dia-Nitrix official said, “Due to weak market conditions, the Mizushima plant had undergone maintenance turnaround in second half of February and has now been restarted on March 8.”

“As the ACN market is slightly better, currently both the ACN plants based in Mizushima and Otake are operating at 85 percent production capacity rates,” he added.

The Mizushima ACN plant has a capacity of 115,000 tons per annum and the Otake plant has a production capacity of 90,000 tons per year.
