More than 500 companies participated in the just concluded third edition of Jeddah Commercial Forum 2013, which talked about efforts to eliminate anti-dumping and subsidy duties on Saudi Arabian petrochemical exports imposed by the markets in Europe, India, China, Turkey and Egypt.

Highlighting the problems that directly concerned the Saudi economy, the forum was held under the theme Enabling National Trade with the Global Competitive Criteria.

Exploring several business development related issues in the kingdom, the two-day-long forum conducted interactive sessions on legal and social aspects of commercial concealment as well as Saudization or nationalization policies and skills needed in the market.

Additionally, topics related to the role of mediation in trade deals and competitiveness of Saudi ports and transport logistics were also discussed at the event.
