MEG & PSF prices drop in Asian markets

Paraxylene (PX) prices increased in Asian markets. In the S E Asian region, PX prices surged and were quoted in the range of US$ 1440/ton to US$ 1445/ton. In the F E Asian market, PX prices were assessed at US$ 1420/ton. Prices of PX imported from the Taiwanese market increased and were assessed in the range of US$ 1435/ton to US$ 1440/ton. 
 
PTA prices increased in the Asian region. In the S E Asian market, PTA prices moved up and were assessed in the range of US$ 1060/ton to US$ 1065/ton. In the F E Asian market, PTA prices were offered at US$ 1060/ton. Prices of PTA imported from the Taiwanese market remained unchanged and were quoted in the range of US$ 1050/ton to US$ 1055/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, PTA prices stayed steady and were offered in the range of RMB 7725/ton to RMB 7775/ton. 
 
Ethylene prices showed a mixed trend in Asian markets. In the S E Asian market, Ethylene prices were offered in the range of US$ 1260/ton to US$ 1265/ton. In the F E Asian region, Ethylene prices were assessed at US$ 1150/ton. In the US market, Ethylene prices declined and were quoted in the range of 54.50 cents/pound to 55.00 cents/pound. Ethylene prices stayed stable in the European international market to US$ 1140/ton, while the prices increased in the domestic market to € 945/ton.
    
MEG prices declined in Asia. In the S E Asian region, MEG prices were offered at US$ 945/ton. In the Chinese international market, MEG prices plunged and were assessed in the range of US$ 950/ton to US$ 955/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, MEG prices surged and were offered in the range of RMB 6925/ton to RMB 6975/ton. 
 
In the S E Asian region, BG PET Chips prices remained stable in the range of US$ 1430/ton to US$ 1450/ton, and some deals were discussed in the range of US$ 1420/ton to US$ 1430/ton. In the F E Asian market, selling offers stayed steady between US$ 1400/ton to US$ 1440/ton, while talked prices were between US$ 1390/ton and US$ 1410/ton. In the Chinese market, BG PET Chips prices decreased and were quoted at RMB 9850/ton.
 
In the Korean market, FG PET Chips prices remained stable in the range of US$ 1230/ton to US$ 1260/ton. In the Indian market, FOB based prices remained stable in the range of US$ 1280/ton to US$ 1320/ton. In the Chinese market, FG PET Chips prices dropped and were offered in the range of RMB 9400/ton to RMB 9450/ton.
 
PSF prices decreased in Asian markets. In the F E Asian market, PSF prices were offered at US$ 1470/ton. In the S E Asian market, PSF selling prices were quoted at US$ 1370/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, PSF prices declined and were assessed in the range of RMB 10050/ton to RMB 10100/ton.
 
In the Chinese domestic market, prices of Polyester POY, DTY, and FDY remained stable at RMB 10475/ton, RMB 12050/ton, and RMB 10800/ton, respectively. In the export market, offers for POY, DTY, and FDY declined to US$ 1445/ton, US$ 1660/ton, and US$ 1480/ton, respectively.
