Sudan Cotton Company invites Kuwaiti investors

Sudan Cotton Company has shown interest to partner with Kuwait's financial sector, comprising public and private organizations.

Abdin Ali, Director General of the Company said that country did not attract adequate investment due to negative image created by media, lack of infrastructure and fluctuating national currency.

He also assured that these hindrances are being sorted out to generate investment opportunities and necessary changes have been made in law to benefit investors.

Earlier Sudan Cotton Company was owned by Sudanese Government, but later, the firm was sold to private sector in 1993.
