PTA price showed stability, MEG price started to pick up, semi-dull and bright polyester chip prices lifted, and CDP, PET bottle slice prices were consolidated on July 23, Monday.
Acrylic staple 1.5 D × 38mm, acrylic top 3D × 102mm prices were firm; CPL, Nylon 6 slice prices looked stable, viscose staple fiber price settled sideways.
Polyester filament market price moved smoothly as a whole, but individual plants made slight upward adjustment in actual transactions. Overall market is expected to remain firm and quiet temporarily, as follow-up demand from downstream market is not great.
Cotton yarn price remained a stable adjustment, individual species of polyester yarn moved upward. Polyester staple fiber price continued to go up. The overall outlook of pure polyester yarn market is expected to show the possibility of an increase.
