Zhangjiagang Bonded Zone is the only river port bonded zone in China and statistics reveal that this region has imported a total of 2,07,000 tons of textile raw materials in the first half of this year, worth US $380 million, increasing by 18.1 percent and 39.8 percent, respectively, over the same time last year.
Of this, the storage volume of cotton, PTA and wool amounted to 1,28,000 tons, 39,000 tons and 17,000 tons, respectively.
In recent years, Zhangjiagang Bonded Zone has rapidly grown to be the largest textile raw materials base in Jiangsu Province and China.
