Ethylene prices on 8 August showed a steep rise in the Asian and European as well as in the Far East regions as compared to last week.
Asia region ethylene prices:
Ethylene, CFR Northeast Asia, at US $1290-1300 per metric ton.
Ethylene, CFR Southeast Asia, at US $1270-1280 per metric ton.
Far East region ethylene prices:
Ethylene, FOB Korea, at US $1210 per metric ton.
Ethylene, FOB Japan, at US $1200 per metric ton.
Europe ethylene prices:
Ethylene, FD Northwest Europe, at Euro 965-970 per metric ton.
Ethylene, CIF Northwest Europe, at US $1290-1295 per metric ton.
