On Monday August 13, PTA prices fell, MEG prices rose, semi-dull, bright polyester chips prices continued to plunge, CDP price lowered further, PET bottle slice price went flat and PSF prices dipped.
Acrylic staple fiber 1.5D × 38mm, acrylic top 3D x 102mm prices were stable; CPL, nylon 6 slices appeared secure.
Polyester transactions were plain, general factory price level was basically steady but a fluctuation of 100 to 200 yuan can be seen in the actual sales. A minor decline in the polyester prices is expected in near future.
All cotton yarn prices presented an overall consolidation, J32s, J40s were still salable.
Viscose yarn and cotton-polyester yarn rates remained unchanged while pure polyester yarn prices continued to move sideways.
Rayon yarn turnover was slightly up; individual items rose. Average market price of VSF increased by 100 yuan per ton and rayon yarn price is still showing an upward trend.
