Ethylene prices on September 5 have shown a mix trend with a slide in rates for the Asian region. In the Far East, these prices remained stable where as that of Europe recorded a rise as compared to preceding week.
Asia region ethylene prices:
Ethylene, CFR Northeast Asia, at US $1250-1260 per metric ton.
Ethylene, CFR Southeast Asia, at US $1200-1210 per metric ton.
Far East region ethylene prices:
Ethylene, FOB Korea, at US $1280 per metric ton.
Ethylene, FOB Japan, at US $1270 per metric ton.
Europe ethylene prices:
Ethylene, FD Northwest Europe, at Euro 978-982 per metric ton.
Ethylene, CIF Northwest Europe, at US $1328-1332 per metric ton.
