China imported 37,000 tons of caprolactam (CPL) in August, less 4170 tons compared to the previous month. Average import price of caprolactam in August was US $2,329 per ton, down $7 from July rate which stood at $2336 per ton.
Statistics reveal that of the total imports, shipments from Japan accounted for 16.3 percent, followed by 13.6 percent from South Korea and 9.9 percent from Russian Federation.
