PTA, ME prices went sideways, that of semi-dull and the bright polyester chips, CDP slice rose on October 8. While PET bottle price looked stable, PSF price changed little.
Prices of acrylic staple 1.5D x 38mm and acrylic top 3D x 102mm were flat. CPL price was stable; nylon 6 slice price went into correction.
VSF prices move slightly upwards. Being hit by weather of 'Rosa' the 16th typhoon this year, filament production in Zhejiang market declined. Factory prices remained stable. Short-term market situation will still be steady, but market trade volume will rebound after this typhoon.
Yarn market transaction volume was not large. Cotton yarn prices reluctantly went smooth. Cotton yarn 32s and J40s were still salable.
Rayon yarn market price changed little, trade volume dropped.
Sales of polyester yarn, viscose yarn and cotton/polyester blended yarn were relatively stable. Polyester yarn 45s still had good trade volume, while other items were in very poor trade. It is expected that the future market will be mainly based on a consolidation.
