Raw materials Exchange inks deals worth $64,115 mn

The State commodity and raw materials exchange of Turkmenistan struck 30 transaction deals worth more than US $64,115 million last week. Here products ranging from petrochemical, textile, agriculture and light industries were sold.

The UAE and Swiss traders acquired hydro purified diesel fuel produced at the Turkmenbashi complex of oil refineries, while Russian people purchased mattress cotton, cotton yarn waste and men's socks.

Seychellois businessmen obtained cotton lint and ylyuk.

Merchants from Russia, Kyrgyzstan, Turkey, Ireland, Seychelles, Kazakhstan, Virgin Islands, Azerbaijan, India and Hungary procured small and big cattle pelts, grey fabric, cotton yarn, washed Karakul wool, jacquard towels, bleached stockinet and knitwear using national currency on deposits in local banks.

Local merchandisers purchased cotton, cotton lint and textile waste worth over Manat 455,948 million to fulfill domestic needs.

The total cost of contracts made in national currency exceeded Manat 38,223 billion.
