Ethylene market continued to show sluggish trend, adversely affected by slow demand and global raw material scenario. Prices for most regions dropped considerably on October 24, as compared to that in second week of this October.

Far East region ethylene prices:

Ethylene, FOB Japan, at US $1085 per metric ton
Europe ethylene prices:
Ethylene, FD Northwest Europe, at Euro 935-940 per metric ton
Ethylene, CIF Northwest Europe, at US $1352-1356 per metric ton
