PTA price slightly lowered and ME price consolidated on Monday, October 29. Prices of semi-dull and bright polyester chips were unchanged. CDP slices price was flat. PET bottle slice price moved stable.
PSF price was steady. Acrylic staple fiber 1.5 D × 38mm and acrylic top 3 D × 102mm prices moved sideways.
CPL price showed no change, while price of nylon 6 slices were slightly raised.
VSF price was in steady consolidation. Conventional varieties of filaments were basically steady, with no significant change in market trade volume. POY and DTY felt greater sales pressure.
Most downstream enterprises run into difficulties of cash flow, but filament cost is still at higher level. The overall market trend is expected to mainly pose a vibrating state through smoothness.
All cotton yarn market was more stable. Cotton yarn 32s still had demand. Pure polyester yarn 45s was also salable. But polyester 32s and 50s lowered 100 yuan per ton. Performance of cotton / polyester yarn and polyester / viscose yarn remained stable.
Rayon yarn prices of 20s and 30s declined 100 yuan per ton compared to a few days ago. Judging from the current demand situation, future market is expected to mainly stay in a moderate correction.
