PSF prices move up on Nov 12

PTA prices continued to rise and ME prices showed a strong growth on Monday, November 12. Semi-dull and bright polyester chip prices pushed up again. PET bottle-slice also moved up and Polyester Staple Fibre (PSF) prices gained momentum.

Acrylic staple fiber 1.5 D × 38mm, acrylic top 3 D × 102mm prices showed steadiness. CPL, nylon 6 slice prices were stable.

In filament market, quotations from factories were unchanged. Later filament market is expected to stay in correction.

Overall yarn market continued its steady consolidation, from the moving trend of varieties; rayon yarn was barely steady, sales of 10s enlarged. All cotton yarn prices were stable. J21s demand was fair. Polyester and viscose yarn 40s was still salable. All polyester yarn 32s and 45s slightly rose in prices.

Future market of pure polyester yarns is expected to find support for a rally.
