China has witnessed rapid development in past couple of years, especially in the production textile chemicals like ethylene. However, it seems that domestic garment manufacturing industry is booming, whose raw material requirements is growing day by day.
China imported ethylene of 43456 tons in October this year, making the accumulated imports up to 378,849 tons this year, 33.857 percent higher than the same period last year; the average price for the month was at US $1240.39 per ton.
China imported 37,500 tons of acrylonitrile (ACN) in October this year, the accumulated imports amounted to 380,200 tons this year, an increase of 86.4 percent over the same period last year, the average price for the month was at $1806.66 per ton.
