Last week (December 10 to 16), although production of polyester and polyester composite filament was limited, its price in Shengze and Jiaxing tow markets still fell, due to the decline of overall market. Average price drop was about 200 yuan per ton.
Prices of (DT+ POY) 50 +50, 68 +50 fell to 14500-14600 yuan per ton, 14200-14300 yuan per ton, respectively. (DT + POY) 100 +50,100 +75,100 +100,100 +125 fell to 13,550 yuan per ton, 13,800 yuan per ton, 13,100 yuan per ton, 13,000 yuan per ton, respectively, down about 200 yuan from last week.
It is learned from the price coordination meeting that the jointly guide price for next week will be cut down of 200 yuan per ton. The market outlook is expected to mainly show a downward trend.
