In the just past week, wool yarn trade volume in Puyuan was stable at a certain level, but prices of all acrylic yarn appeared weak, especially all single yarn fell 100-200 yuan per ton. Price of colored polyester yarn declined 100 yuan per ton.
From market trend of varieties, among knot-free Australian wool and acrylic, high-count yarn like 42s knot-free wool yarn and 52s 30/70 knot-free wool and acrylic yarn, were popular. These products, used to produce jacket sweaters, attracted interest from downstream enterprises.
Domestic made fine wool spinning yarn had common demand, delivery of 42s yarn was smooth, but price was unchanged from the previous week. All acrylic yarn had small trade volume; price also fell for 200-300 yuan per ton.
Prices of 32s acrylic single yarn and 42s acrylic single yarn declined from 23500 yuan per ton and 24000 yuan per ton to current 23300 yuan per ton and 23900 yuan per ton. Imitated cashmere, and imitated rabbit hair went smoothly, but actual market prices were eased.
Colored polyester yarn saw scarce transaction volume this week, due to price drop in polyester staple fiber from upstream sector. Demand of nylon-6 FDY210D for production of winter sweater jacket enlarged slightly, the market recently was supported by demand, but price focus lowered 100 yuan per ton due to the influence of nylon materials from upstream sector.
Market transactions of yeanling wool yarn showed slight increase in quantity, the product is mainly used in production of fashion scarves and clothing collars.
Market outlook for next week is expected to be generally stable and overall trade volumes will also not record major growth.
