Exchange strikes 25 deals worth $74 mn

Turkmenistan commodity and raw materials exchange recorded 25 transactions earning foreign currency over US $74,668 million, in this week.

This time demand for petrochemical products has seen a considerable rise in comparison to earlier transactions as international requirement has increased.

Traders from UAE purchased aviation kerosene TS-1 and gasoline A-92, while Austrian merchants procured oil coke. British buyers obtained polypropylene and hydro-fined diesel fuel produced at the Turkmenbashi complex of oil refineries.

Dealers from Turkey acquired diesel produced at the Seyydi oil refinery and people from US got hold of liquefied gas from the Nayyp terminal.

Other purchases include lint cotton, jacquard bath towels, a wide range of jeans cloth and cotton yarn made by Russian, Swiss and US businessmen.

Grey fabric, cotton yarn, cotton garments, washed Karakul wool, different types of small-cattle pelts, refined cotton-seed oil were procured by people from Pakistan, Kazakhstan, Czech Republic, Afghanistan, India, Ukraine, US, Kyrgyzstan, Turkey, UAE and Seychelles.

With this the country deposited 71,180 billion manats in its national banks.
