This Monday, on March 17, PTA price moved upward, MEG price was in consolidation. Semi-dull, bright polyester chips, CDP slices increased in price, PET bottle price was in temporary correction.
Acrylic Staple 1.5 D × 38mm, acrylic top 3 D × 102mm prices were stable; CPL, nylon 6 slice price trimmed.
Market trade volume of polyester filament had changed very little, but price still moved up under the influence of raw material cost of polyester. Production and sale rate of local spinning factories were balanced.
At present operation rate of downstream jet looms are stable; production and sales are booming as actual demand increases. Weaving and texturizing enterprises have additional covering activities, but traders believe that the current market operation of polyester filament is not strong enough. The market outlook is expected to maintain an upward pattern due to the support of upstream raw material price and demand.
Trading volume of all cotton yarn 30s looked still fairly good, with its price up 100 yuan per ton, which was mainly used in the production of jet nylon and cotton cloth series; pure polyester 32s and 45s still had demand, prices were unchanged.
Rayon yarn 10s was salable. Blended yarn market of polyester and viscose yarn, polyester and cotton yarn showed little change.
PSF, VSF prices were stable. Market outlook is expected to mainly show a moderate correction in short time.
