Constant rise in the oil prices in the global scenario, plus production cutbacks in the major manufacturing facilities in China, India, and some countries in Southeast Asia, propylene prices in the domestic region is on the rising trend this week.
On June 26, Guangrao petrochemical offers propylene price at 13,000 yuan per ton. Its inventories are low. Most of the propylene that the company produces is consumed within the factory and just a small part is put up for external sale.
On this day, offer price for Zibo HSBC Petrochemical stood at 13,600 yuan; as market demand has slightly improved, general trend of propylene market is stable.
