Viscose Staple Fibre prices showed a stable trend in early-July this year. Domestic price focus of VSF 1.5 D * 38mm (white) rose from 15,450 yuan per ton in late-June to 15,500 yuan per ton in early July.
VSF price from Jilin Chemical stabilized at 16,000 yuan per ton and price of differential staple of 2.0 D * 51mm (black) was quoted at 22,300 yuan per ton. Finally, price trend of main VSF varieties seem to be showing strong signs of stabilization, after a rigorous testing period.
Meanwhile, prices of viscose filament yarns were also steady. Among them, rate of bright viscose filament 133.3 dtex/30f stood at around 33,750 yuan per ton. Bright viscose filament 166.7 dtex/30f remained at 33,000 yuan per ton and 500 dtex/100f stayed at 28,000 yuan per ton.
Relatively stable state of viscose fibre prices in early-July was supported by the steadiness in cotton linter prices, providing slight promotion to viscose fibre market and helped it to maintain a firm trend.
