Chemical fiber pulp production climbs up in H1

Recent statistical data shows that chemical fiber pulp production reached nearly 99,964 tons in June 2008. However, it marks a drop of 14.02 percent when compared to previous month.

From January to June, this year, total chemical fiber pulp production came around 71.99 million tons, showcasing a year-on-year increase of 24.45 percent.

The major producers of chemical fiber pulp in June this year were Xinjiang, Shandong, Henan, Jiangsu and Hebei Provinces. June production of Xinjiang was nearly 22,000 tons, output of Shandong was almost 20,800 tons.

Henan Province produced approximately 91,200 tons of chemical fiber pulp in the first half of 2008, a significant rise of 96.01 percent when compared to same time of last year.
