The effects of slipping crude prices are quite evident in the propylene market. Prices for most of the importing regions showed a fluctuating trend.

Far Eastern and the US region experienced a plunge where as Europe demonstrated stability on October 15, in comparison to the previous week.

Propylene prices in Far East region:

Propylene, FOB South Korea, at US $799-801 per ton.

Propylene prices in European region:

Propylene (polymerization level), FD Northwest Europe, at Euro 950-955 per metric ton.

Propylene (polymerization level), CIF Northwest Europe, at Euro 950-955 per metric ton.

Price in the United States:

Propylene (refining level), FAS Houston, at US cent 41.625-41.875 per lb.
