Propylene market mirrors the consequences of global financial recession. Prices of propylene showed a considerable fluctuation in various markets.

Most of the importing regions like the Europe and US demonstrated a down trend, where as Far East showed a considerable surge, on November 26, in comparison to the previous week.

Propylene prices in Far East region:

Propylene, FOB South Korea, at US $464-$466 per ton.

Propylene prices in European region:

Propylene (polymerization level), FD Northwest Europe, at Euro 540-550 per metric ton.
Propylene (polymerization level), CIF Northwest Europe, at Euro 500-510 per metric ton.

Price in the United States:

Propylene (refining level), FAS Houston, at US cent 13.500-13.750 per lb.
