Propylene prices which had been moving northwards in the Far East region for most part of March, had started shedding the gains in the previous two weeks and did so again yesterday, by falling marginally from US $849-851 per ton to $834-836 per ton.

Prices of Propylene (polymerization level), FD Northwest Europe and CIF Northwest stayed flat at last weeks levels of €450-460 per metric ton and €435-445 per metric ton respectively on Wednesday.

The US markets, which had picked pace in the previous week, kept up the momentum once again on Wednesday and moved from US cent 23.63-23.83 per lb to US cent 26.880-27.130.
