Sinopec has formally announced the contract bid for PET for June 2009. Semi-dull polyester chips have been quoted at 8,600 Yuan per ton and Bright polyester chips at 8,700 Yuan per ton.
Prices of chips for industrial filament have been announced at 8,700 Yuan per ton and full dull chips at 9,400 Yuan per ton.
