MEGlobal, a big time producer of MEG has nominated its July MEG contract for the Asian market at US $680 per ton CFR Asia.
This is a $50 per ton increase in MEG contract prices, when corresponded with those quoted by the company in its June ACP.
However, the other major MEG supplier, Shell Chemicals, chose not to raise its July prices from those announced in June and nominated the same at $620 per ton CFR Asia.
