China's pure benzene imports totaled 14,423 tons in July 2009. Among sources of China's benzene imports, 8,648 tons were from South Korea.
This gives South Korea the first ranking from amongst benzene importing countries and accounts for 59.96 percent of China's benzene imports in the month.
Imports from Iran totaled to 2,914 tons, giving it a second ranking and accounting for 20.21 percent of China's total benzene imports.
Shipments of benzene from Japan totaled to 2,860 tons, giving it a third ranking and accounting for 19.83 percent of China's total benzene imports in July.
