China's domestic caprolactam market was stable on Thursday, with very few trade deals being conducted last week. Sinopec has listed its price for December deliveries at 17,500 Yuan / ton (Shipment to be made by buyers).
Ex-factory quote of caprolactam from Nanjing Oriental is in 17700-17800 Yuan / ton (shipment to be made by buyers with payment terms of 3 months) and the utilization rate of its 160,000 tons / year) is at 80 percent.
In the domestic markets caprolactam prices ranged between 17,300-17,500 Yuan / ton, but few deals were negotiated. In Asian spot market, caprolactam was steady at US $2160-2200 / ton (CFR China main port L/C 90 days).
Market participants expect that outlook of caprolactam market will be basically firm.
