On Wednesday, Asian benzene priced rose by US $15 on February compared to the closing price of the previous day to close at $948-951/ton (FOB Korea).
The Chinese benzene domestic market was steady with limited trade volume. In East China, price stood at 7600-7800 Yuan / ton, South China 7600-7800 Yuan / ton and it ranged between 7600-7800 Yuan / ton in North China.
Market participants expect that short-term domestic benzene market will basically remain in consolidation pattern, but do not rule out the possibility of decline.
