China's domestic Benzene market was stable on; although a wait-and-see atmosphere appeared strong in the market. Ex-factory price of Lanzhou Petrochemical increased 100 Yuan / ton to 6,900 Yuan / ton.

In the Asian markets, benzene fell US $14 on February 22 from the previous day and closed at $940-943 per / ton (FOB Korea).

The Chinese domestic market seemed steady. Market price in East China ranged in between 7500-7600 Yuan / ton, price in South China stood at 7500-7600 Yuan / ton and in North China it was 7500-7600 Yuan / ton.

While outside offers declined, domestic benzene market was still firm due to the impact of slightly higher oil prices. Traders have gradually returned to the market, but transaction atmosphere is calm as most traders still basically hold a wait-and-see mood.

Market participants expect that benzene market conditions will remain strong in coming days.
