Market conditions of Chinese domestic benzene were weak on Wednesday; deals sank in stalemate. The Northeast Petroleum Company brought down its selling price of benzene for buyers by 200 Yuan / ton.
In the Asian markets, benzene prices fell US $5 from the previous day and closed at $907-911 per ton (FOB Korea).
In China, market price in East China ranged in between 7300-7350 Yuan / ton, in South China it stood at 7300-7350 Yuan / ton and the price in North China was 7300-7350 Yuan / ton.
Although oil prices have risen again, market conditions of domestic benzene are still weak. Most traders are adopting a wait and watch attitude, leading to a deadlock in the benzene markets.
