Since recent days, China's PTA spot import market is holding a wait and watch attitude. Offers for Taiwan's PTA supply and bonded cargo range in between US $965-970 per ton.
However, counteroffers from downstream sector are about $955 per ton and actual negotiation level stands at $960 per ton.
Offers for South Korean supply stand at $945 per ton; discussion level is about US $940 per ton. The market though does not seem to be in a mood to seal deals.
