Market conditions of Chinese domestic benzene were light and stable on Wednesday and the general atmosphere of transactions was as usual. In the Asian markets, benzene closed at US $1001-1004 / ton (FOB South Korea) on April 27, US $1 higher over the previous trading day.
In the Chinese market, benzene price in East China ranged between 7,800-7,900 Yuan / ton, in South China it stood at 7,800-7,900 Yuan / ton, the price in North China marked 7,800-7,900 Yuan / ton.
Though being influenced by slightly higher price of overseas goods, market conditions of domestic benzene were still weak, due to the impact of declining oil prices. Traders expect that outlook of domestic market will be bearish.
