BTX plant of Maruzen to undergo turnaround

Maruzen Petrochemicals operates a BTX plant in Ichihara prefecture, Japan, which has a capacity to produce 200,000 tons of benzene, 85,000 tons of Toluene and 85,000 tons of Xylene.

An official source from Maruzwen informed fibre2fashion, that the BTX plant is scheduled for a maintenance turnaround somewhere in September 2010, although the date and duration has not been fixed as yet.

He also added by saying that, currently the plant is operating at normal production capacity.
