In China, Acrylonitrile markets remained stable on higher range at RMB 21,700 / ton. Acrylonitrile market was under correction in small range, at high price level.
Market speculators adopted a wait and watch attitude, as they expected down fall in Acrylonitrile prices, as the prices of feedstock (Propylene) was in waning trend.
Acrylic staple fiber prices remained stable around RMB 22,800 / ton. ASF buyers stayed away from the market due to the higher price of upstream products and low demand from downstream producers.
Some manufacturers reduced their plant operational rate, to save their high value inventories.
