In China, Acrylonitrile markets remained on higher range at RMB 21,700 / ton. However, market participants still adopted a wait and watch approach on expectations of a fall in upstream raw material prices.
Acrylic staple fiber prices remained stable around RMB 22,800 / ton. Some acrylic plants are inclined to cut production, because their losses have enlarged as Acrylonitrile prices firmed higher and have remained stable at those highs, since the starting of the month.
