In Chinese market, Caprolactam prices remained stable around RMB 21,900 / ton while upstream market continued to follow corrections.
Traders having cargo in their hand also took stance of wait and watch as buying sentiment was sinking in the global Caprolactam market.
Nylon chips prices remained stable around RMB 24,000 / ton. Nylon chip sellers were found to be worried as economic uncertainty prevailed in the domestic and global markets due to which buyers were not keen to make fresh purchases.
Nylon POY, FDY and DTY prices remained stable around RMB 26,900 / ton, RMB 28,200 / ton and RMB 29,600 / ton respectively. Producers still faced high cost pressure as feedstock chips still remained high.
