With the help of a bullish upstream market, Asian Paraxylene increased by US $10/ton to $915/ton, while in the European market PX was in the range of $895-900/ton.
PTA bounced back in tandem with upstream. In S E Asian market, price of PTA increased by $5/ton. PTA price in F E Asian market was around $845/ton while trading centered around $842/ton. In Chinese market, price was in the range of RMB 7100-7150/ton.
Ethylene remained stagnant despite of improvement in downstream demand. In Asian market MEG price assessed in the range of $900-905/ton.
MEG goods were offered at between $710-715/ton while the mainstream goods were traded around $705/ton.
FGPET Chip is expected to hover in the range of $1135-1150/ton in near future as per market experts.
