Acrylonitrile prices remained steady around RMB 17,500 / ton. In acrylonitrile and it's downstream, profit margin was moderate, seller also preferred to hold material rather than selling in lower price and buyers preferred to stick with contractual market over spot market.
Acrylic staple fibre prices remained stable around RMB 22,500 / ton. As upstream raw material market tended to fall, cost pressure on fiber producers was easing off. However, the market needed adjustments due to weak downstream demand.
