In the Asian markets, benzene fell US $21 / ton from the previous day and closed at $758-761 / ton (FOB Korea) on July 13. The Chinese domestic benzene market appeared firm amid steadiness on Wednesday, negotiating atmosphere was dull.

In the Chinese market, price in East China rose to 6200-6250 Yuan / ton, price in South China touched 6100-6200 Yuan / ton and in North China it stood at 6100-6200 Yuan / ton.

Benzene market conditions in East China have slightly improved, due to the impact of sharp increase of crude oil market. Market participants expect that short-term benzene market will continue to be based on narrow correction.
