Asian Paraxylene market price improved marginally compared to yesterday as oil prices improved, the focus of market transactions too increased.
Price was assessed in the range of $835-840/ton in the S E Asian market. In Chinese domestic market, Paraxylene stood at RMB 6,400/ton.
Asian PTA market was flat. Taiwanese PTA stock was discussed in the range of $850-855/ton. S Korean PTA was offered at $835-840/ton.
In N E Asia, spot ethylene prices were quoted at $795-800/ton, mainly reflecting the level of market transactions and consultations.
MEG prices were steady in the range of $705-710/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, traded price was RMB 5,800/ton while offers were around RMB 5,900/ton.
