In Asia, benzene rose by US $24 from the previous trading day, to settle at $840-843 / ton (FOB Korea) on July 27. In the Chinese domestic market, conditions of pure benzene were strong on Tuesday, while talking atmosphere was fair.
Mainstream price in East China market ranged between 6350-6400 Yuan / ton, in South China it stood at 6200-6250 Yuan / ton and mainstream price in North China ranged between 6200-6300 Yuan / ton.
The Chinese domestic benzene market is firm and market sentiment is better, due to the impact of strong oil prices. Market participants expect that short-term conditions of benzene market may be strong.
