Paraxylene price was range bound in between US$ 890/ton to US$ 900/ton. Mainly deals were concluded in the range of US$ 890/ton to US$ 895/ton in S E Asian and Chinese market. In Korean market price of PX assessed around US$ 893/ton.
PTA market today was overall stalemate around US$ 855/ton in Asian markets. PTA imported from Korea maintained price around US$ 840/ton. PTA in S E Asia hovered around US$ 855/ton but mainly traded around US$ 853/ton. Buyers turned more cautious as price surged higher.
Ethylene prices spurt up to US$ 840/ton in the S E Asian market while offers for the Ethylene in the F E Asian market was assessed in the range of US$ 850/ton to US$ 865/ton. Price of Ethylene in the European market is expected to open above US$ 1125/ton due to bullish market sentiment.
In MEG, market was rising. The traders increased the price to US$ 740/ton, bid was mainly in US$ 725/ton to US$ 730/ton, quotation tended to US$ 730/ton to US$ 735/ton, transaction was active, and manufacturers were in obvious Dream.
FGPET Chip was offered at US$ 1100/ton in the Asian market but mainly traded in the range of US$ 1070/ton to US$ 1080/ton.
