In Chinese market, caprolactam (CPL) price moved up by RMB 200 / ton and its new price assessed around RMB 21200 / ton.
Japanese firm, Sumitomo has announced a planned outage at its Ehime based 180,000 ton / year CPL production facility. Plant is expected to shutdown for maintenance from mid-October for 40 to 45 days.
In Chinese market nylon chip price remained stable around RMB 23400 / ton.
In Chinese market, nylon POY and FDY prices ascended by RMB 100 / ton and new prices were assessed around RMB 25700 / ton and RMB 26600 / ton, respectively, while nylon DTY price remained unchanged around RMB 28500 / ton.
